The Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacy at Kyung Hee University, under the direction of Dr. Eun Kyoung (“Christina”) Chung, Pharm.D., Ph.D., BCPS, is performing research in the discipline of clinical pharmacy to fulfill the following clinical unmet needs in Korea:

1. Optimizing and individualizing drug therapy for diverse patient populations.
2. Improving the efficiency of clinical trials for growing biomedical and healthcare industry.
3. Promoting drug safety considering exponentially increased medication use.
4. Advancing healthcare system based on evidence-based, multidisciplinary team practice.

Therefore, our vision is to improve human health by providing individualized, optimal drug therapy based on scientific evidence of medication safety and efficacy/effectiveness as well as facilitating new drug development for industry based on optimal clinical trial design. Our lab has been cultivating the next-generation clinical pharmacy leaders to achieve our vision.
